Lush had a revolutionary idea. Become the first large cosmetic brand to use 100% Post Consumer Recycled plastic for their cosmetic containers.
To accomplish this, they came to us. We helped them find, source and create a reliable PCR plastic stream. Not only that, but we created a closed-loop return system for their customers to return used containers.
With help from Ocean Legacy, we were able to make their iconic black pots with PCR and ocean plastic waste.
This award winning project was a huge win for all parties involved; LUSH, their customers, Plascon Plastics and of course the planet!
